Early Christmas BBQ Party

It happened last Saturday, my house had an early Christmas BBQ party. I didn't invite any of my friends because I was lazy to call them plus I would really like to spend some time with my family and babies.

Papa and mama woke up early to get fresh ingredients at the morning market. I woke up not so late, just in time to help my mama prepared the food. hehe

I'm proud to say that these corns were prepared by me! #lol

Squids!!!! My favoriteeeeeeee :)

While girls were busy in the kitchen, papa was busy cleaning the floor. Teamwork!

Fresh fishessssssssssss..........

And here we have pumpkins! I applied the salt and olive oil on it and mama baked it. I think people enjoyed it but I didn't get a chance to have one.

Homemade cendol by my mama! She did the sugar syrup herself and she always get compliments for her cendol. It was really tasty.

People started filling my house and it just felt so good to have a house full of joy.

Spot the chicken on the BBQ cooker, it was cooked by my brother. He never failed making it delicious.

Some other delicious dishes. Spot the baked pumpkins!

Random shots........... I was playing with my camera trying to figure out some cool effects.

Papa took this for me! He asked me to take the "kiap kiap" and pretend I'm cooking. hahahahha

Baby Ian! Isn't he adorable?! Love him so much and he always makes me blush when he stares at me. haha

Kenneth, I can never take a clear picture of him. He is so playful in a cute way. I kept running back and forth with him. Good way to lose some weight! haha

More pictures of cute Ian! I told his mom I like to put my finger in the door hole when I was young and his mom tried to do it. He saw and he mimicked what his mom did. OMG baby learns fast!

And here we have baby Emily!!!! Kenneth's sister.

Brother's friends. But also a lot like our friends too. #lol

Anyway, Merry Christmas! I went to shopping with my parents on the actual Christmas day and I had a blast. How bout you?

Winter Solstice

This is super outdated, but I'm blogging it anyway. Woke up at 4:30 to prepare tang yuan with my mom.

What's special about my house tang yuan is that we added peanut butter in it. It tastes so good~~~

Here we have two type of tang sui:

The traditional one

And the 21st Century one, which tastes so much better.

Anyway hope you had a great winter solstice with your family :)

Bao Sheng Durian Farm

Hehe sorry for keep dragging this post. Okay people, let's continue with my food trip day 2! Had a 12 o'clock reservation with Bao Sheng Durian Farm. It's so famous you have to make a reservation before going.

Went to Air Hitam to have breakfast. Had Apam Balik while waiting for our food. It was so good, they gave a lot of corns. Unlike KL they gave you a little bit of it only.

Prawn mee my all time favorite!!!! Bought some local goods before we head to the durian farm.

Bao Sheng Durian Farm has super nice view! You can even stay a night at their villa with private pool!

The owner will give you a brief durian lesson. There's so much we don't know about durian. So, we were introduced with this five different kind of durians.

This is 小红 (Xiao Hong)

And to be honest I forgot the rest of the durain's name. I forgot which one which. But I remember the last one is Red Prawn. It taste like chocolate. This five durians costed us RM 200+ crazy shit but nice experience we had.

So, tomorrow's the end of the world. What did you plan to do? I personally don't believe in it. I can't wait to celebrate Winter Solstice Festival with my family! hehe
